My family and my friend as it had turned out had only been to The Huntington once before so it was great to revisit the beautiful gardens! We mostly visited the Japanese gardens and then we had to rush to get to our reservation for tea. My friend continued on with her children to the children's garden. We would have liked them to have join us for tea but in retrospect it was best because by the time we were done with tea they were closing down the gardens!!! And while GZ understands a lot she does not understand if we say that we go somewhere and we don't but they sure had their heart set on going to play with the water. And they had sooo much fun :o) We also had fun in our first ever afternoon tea experience. The tea room was relatively quiet (if one does not factor in excited talk by GZ) and beautifully elegant....I want to go back!!! Someday soon I hope :o)
