Disneyland with Mommy and cousins

This pic was taken when we joined the Shaw clan to celebrate aunt Sherryl's
birthday. We have had fun one more time with them in Disneyland. It is a lot of fun to be able to hang out with our cousins.
The following pictures were when baby and I went together. We did not get to do all that much but it was a nice day spent out in the sun :o) That specific day in fact I forgot where I parked the car and had not recorded it. Nice thing to know is that everyone that works there can give you a ballpark of where the car is located based on what time you came to the park!

Cousin Delaney's Bday

Delaney is her eldest cousin from this side of the family and she really enjoys Gabriela Zoe! As you can see she took her with her everywhere she went...well GZ did not oppose to it...she enjoys her company also :o) That birthday party was so fun...I have not been to too many pj parties but they sure are fun!

Pampering Yourself

Now pampering is a great thought that I've had many times but it always included a considerable amount of money in my mind. Therefore, I have skipped it one too many times, follow this link to read a post by an old friend who has some great ideas about pampering

Cutest Words She Says

well basically all of them are cute...Stephen and I know that Gabriela Zoe said "Evangelia" at least twice to each of us at different times! In vain have we tried to convince her to say it again. The other word she says consistently is 'tsa' that she says it when she plays peekaboo and some times at random. She says 'dada' 'gia' (which mean Hi in Greek) and when its together 'giagia' is grandma. The most frequently spoken and understandable gibberish is 'oloudloudlou' 'ticketickletickle' SO CUTE....I just had to write them down so I don't forget!
She definitely understands No because when she is about to do something she is not allowed to do and we say 'no' sometimes she starts crying! Sad but makes me happy to know she understands.

The Spirit is Willing but the Flesh is Weak

Yep another one of my random thoughts! This morning I picked up Gabriela Zoe and she had her bobo...a.k.a. pacifier in her mouth. Now for several months I have been trying to teach her that if she wants to eat she has to take her bobo out herself. This morning she was the cutest thing to watch...she wanted to nurse...but she did not want to stop sucking on her bobo! She looked so torn as she was pulling her bobo out of her mouth but her tongue would not let go of her bobo!!! :o) That made me think of how many times there are things I know I have to let go in order to have the promised blessings and yet even though I try there is the other part of me that is still holding on. Eventually her desire to eat overcame the sucking desire and she pulled the bobo out of her mouth triumphantly. I pray that always my desire to do what pleases my father will always overcome my flesh!
